Dan Burnett is one of the UK’s leading piano vocalists. It’s in his blood.
He was spoon-fed blues, soul, funk and rock music from an early age by his dad, Laurie Burnett - who was in bands with former David Bowie’s ‘Spiders from Mars’ Mick ‘Woody’ Woodmansey and Trevor Bolder, and as a youngster had guitar lessons from his good friend, the legendary Mick Ronson.
Dan has written and recorded music for TV & Film (including the new Nicolas Cage movie ‘Stolen’ and the US TV series 'Supernatural'), and has gigged extensively throughout the UK, Europe and the USA.
Dan currently plays gigs throughout the UK as a solo artist, and with his band. Dan is an endorser of Kawai Pianos internationally, and works with Roland and their piano products. He was also a finalist in the 2015 & 2016 British Blues Awards.
