Been playing bass for over 5 years now. Learn by ear and played along to bands like the Chilis (my favourite band EVER!),
Muse, Fratellis, Queen, plus a bit of Iron Maiden so my influences and taste cross a whole load of genres which has helped to enhance improvisation.
I have been a temporary bassist for a pop-punk band (now defunct), playing a few live gigs in the process.
Aside from that, I've been jamming at open-mic jam nights which built up confidence on stage and tightened up my playing a little bit.
