Elizabeth studied Speech & Drama from the age of seven with Cushla Murphy Hehir, before pursuing her Associate Performer's Diploma (First Class Honours) from the Leinster School of Music and Drama. She is trained in drama performance (Shakespeare and modern), mime, improvisation, prose and poetry recital, and has studied movement, the voice and language as well as theoretical and performative perspectives on acting, drama and theatre production.
She is a past pupil of Limerick-based Spotlight Stage School (tap, jazz, contemporary dance) and Expressive Arts. She has studied acting with CentreStage Theatre School and the Limerick School of Acting, and musical theatre with NYMT Ireland. A confident singer, she is a mezzo soprano who plays the piano, guitar and ukelele. Awards include the 2005 Permanent TSB High Achiever Award (piano), 2007 LSMD gold medal (acting) and the 2005 Feis Thomond cup (acting). A fluent French speaker, she has acted in French in La Vie en Reve.
