No previous acting experience
No "formal" experience. Have always been a bit of a fringe player, really, but like everyone else, I'm full of enthusiasm and positive I have talent. I'm getting older and I want to have a go at the things I always thought I should do but didn't because of confidence issues (am also working at horse riding and dancing - watch out world, eh!?)
As an unconventional teacher, I have acted regularly in the classroom. In a previous time I spent a couple of summers out with my Punch & Judy Show (beaches, fetes etc....). Played Tybalt in a school Shakespeare Day (reminded me how exhausting it is to be a teen with attitude!). Polly Garter in local production of Under Milkwood. Folk singing in costume. Some choreography for school plays. Made costumes and scenery for productions of Oliver, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat, Toad of Toad Hall. Took part in the Matlock Festival of Performing Arts many moons ago.
All very amateur but possibly relevant.
So I do have experience (though I wouldn't say I'm Bafta material) I'm keen to learn and I'm easy to work with.
