Influences: Lady Gaga, Marina And The Diamonds, Him, Black, The Cranberries, The Bird And The Bee, Hurts
I have been singing since I was at primary school. I had a bronze medal at the school contest at third grade. After that I sang Hungarian folk songs on various town events in my home town in Hungary.
At secondary school I had the male lead in 3 musical productions, all three being Hungarian musicals: Somewhere in Europe, Jungle Book and The Attic. In the meantime I was member of both of the school choirs as a tenor. We have been to several contests in the country and performed regularly at various events. I started my vocal training at my second year of secondary school and performed regularly at school events.
Once I have graduated, I moved to a different town to go to college and started taking classical vocal lessons. Soon I have joined an amateur musical stage group which we had regular performances in town with.
I applied to the local theatre as well as an extra. I have got in and sang and danced the routines for the musical 'Hair'. I have gained a good insight of theatre work and used my harmonising skills to my best knowledge.
In the meantime, I have created a group with one of my secondary school classmates and his cousin and one of brothers to do a rock cover band. We have covered Marilyn Manson, The Cranberries, HIM and some other artists too. We have practised on a weekly basis and performed at town events.
I moved back to my home town and started working for the local television as reporter-editor and established a musical theatre group at the local community centre. We have had weekly rehearsals and regularly performed at town events. Also, performed a full 2-hour show once a year in the community centre.
Since then I have annually performed at live gigs with my fellow singers and musicians in town. We have diverted to performing acoustic covers of recent pop/rock/indie songs.
Now I am a member of a Jersey Boys tribute act.
