"...there is something refreshingly Hemingway-esque about Coles's Philosophy that deserves to be heard." BBC's Focus magazine.

ACTING
Open-hearted and experiential, I am currently interested in speaking parts that expand my range and challenge me. I'm especially interested in dark pieces, humour and anything to do with travel (but certainly not limited to these areas).

ACTING TRAINING:
Royal Shakespeare Company:
- Voice and Text (with RSC Voice Practitioner Michael Corbidge)
- Movement
- Acting for the stage
- Stage Combat (with RSC Stage Combat Instructor Tom Jordan)
- Directing Masterclass (Meisner)
Voice Over Masterclass - Alan Marriot.
Beginners Improv: Improvisation Foundation.
Kevin Spacey Masterclass.
Paul McNeilly Screen Acting.
Directing Actors Intensive at The Globe Theatre, London.

Additional skills: Tactical firearms training, basic stunt driving skills, horse riding, motorbike license, post-grad deception detection skills, basic combatives training, kayaking, sailing, mountains, arctic and desert experience.

PRESENTING
I've run my own commissioned National Geographic web channel and run branding workshops for corporates, writing workshops for events, desert and arctic talks for schools, and I'm a member of Toastmasters International.

If you want someone who can pull off a range of looks, opinions, voices and subjects with journalistic flair and an authored voice I may be your man.

A producer/director I've worked with described me this way recently (and I hope it sums me up):
"...likeable, good humoured, diplomatic, persuasive, bold, hard working, with experience of extreme climates, locations/environments and a marvellous plate spinner."

***Please note that for any projects I accept, a copy of the final output for my reel is mandatory. Thank you!

Twitter: With a £16 ad budget took on a private medical lobby group (funded to £500m p/a) to stop them sneaking in GP, hospital fees and overnight privatisation by the back door. Also uncovered corruption and supporting docs.
YouTube: A million+ for my videos.
Wattpad's most favourited author.

TV & Reality

10 years working in production and development. My documentary work has sold in more than 25 countries. Some front of camera experience, presenting/acting, which is increasing all the time.
