Modeling experience

Part-time model - paid commercial work

- flexibility; can do the splits, keep up with gym regularly.
- Vaping; able to vape any device. Have 2-3 of my own. Big cloud or small cloud? Able to wick & build own devices. Able to get almost any kind of 'cool' looking vape on lend for a shoot.
- cooking & baking; advanced home baker. Lots of professional baking equipment at home.
- advanced knowledge of skincare
& beauty; ridiculous amount of these products.
- highly organised; able to asses, manage, and sort out situations in an effective manner (I'm told this is a skill?)

I started out, & continue with, TFP shoots as all beginners do. I focused on Lingerie, as clearly shown in my Photo Gallery. Most of these have been for students' projects, or photographers' concept projects that I have believed in and happy to participate in.

However shoots I am lining up are more casual to add to my portfolio, as these are more my style at the moment. I have continued in 2021 to shoot fashion, and simplistic shoots. Discontinuing Lingerie & Boudoir as a style from my repitoire since returning to modelling.
My inspiration is drawn from late 70s & 80s editorial shoots, and I am pushing myself to learn from the legends with the next shoots I have lined up from May/June 2021.

Earlier in 2018, in June, I was approached by the NZ representative of a vape juice company by the name of Nasty Juice. They followed my Instagram, and liked my energy. They invited me to be their model for their commercial advertisement showing off their new juice flavour - with an enticement vibe.

This was a video advertisement and can be found here >

There were also teaser pictures taken for this shoot which are here >

The entire concept of this advertisement was that the Vape Juice flavour completely "transports & transforms" the consumer into another world where they are king/queen and the flavour makes them feel incredible.

I have included some sample pictures of my paid modelling shoots in my photo gallery. The black & white shadow play shots, taken in Tauranga. Then the black & pink lingerie, and the red lingerie shots are from the same shoot - taken just outside of The Awamutu.

I have done hair modelling in the past for 3-4 years, from when I was 14 - 17. I modelled for Team 7 Hairdressing in Te Awamutu, and once for Vivo Hair Studio in Hamilton. Working with both was an absolute dream. I didn't care what colour, cut, style, or final outfit I was given - I just loved to see them succeed at what they did. And I was happy to receive such expensive hair change in exchange for modelling.

The modelling aspect included posing for long periods of time, receiving feedback, and of course - lots of practicing.

The second aspect was the catwalk. Before the competitions each year, the team would have us come in and practice our catwalk on their concrete floor, gravel, sidewalk etc. This was walked in a variety of suitable
& 'unsuitable'' shoes, for up to 6 runways a competition.

The final aspect of the hair modelling was the camera shots. This is where I first learned how to pose. Even before I allowed myself to have the guts to pursue modelling. Unfortunately I don't have access to each years shots. I'll put up the first ever modelling shot I have though from my first hair modelling - as someone bought that for me.

Vocal ability

I sung both back up (harmony), and lead singer in minor bands when I was younger (13-16 years old). I played piano & keyboard also (both in bands & piano in lessons up to grade 4).

I was in school and college choir as a Mezzo-Soprano & Falsetto until I completed schooling.

I have not kept up my keyboard & piano skills, however I continue to sing. I have a microphone set-up.

Hair, Makeup & Styling

Fashion Styling ability

Makeup Artist ability

During the time I was a hair model for 4 years, I was also their makeup artist. The first 2 years unpaid of course, as I was only 14 & 15 at the time. But as my skill grew in matching clothing to makeup, and makeup shades to eye colours - they offered to pay me. I didn't request it.
At 16, they offered to pay me $50 per face. To my memory I completed 3. That year I saw opportunities to help with styling when I was free, and helped dress the girls, switch outfits & jewellery around when it obviously didn't go with the theme etc.

The last year I did Hair Modelling, they recognised my efforts in helping them style the unorganised girls. They paid per girl that I styled, and did makeup for. I again did 3. And helped a few others along the way, but I'm not the sort of person who would ask to be paid for lending a bracelet.

Even though I was 17, with no formal makeup training, they were thoroughly impressed with the outcome of my on trend avant-garde, cohesive looks.

I still have no 'formal' makeup training, but I am well versed on makeup hygiene and sanitisation practices. I have had a good friend who is a qualified makeup artist, run me through the practices a few times to make sure I'll never forget them.

Since then I have been a Styling
& Makeup Assistant on a shoot I travelled for, if I have a picture I will add it. Just something casual, photographers name was Mark Miller.
