After completing University, I now have a BA Hons Degree in Drama with Dance. My training was in the following fields: TV Drama Studies, Musical Theatre, The study of Shakespeare, Experimental Performance, Camera Work, 'The Moving Body' and Dance Choreography.
I recently filmed with Director and Actor, Ralph Fiennes for his new BBC Film 'The Invisible Woman'' with Headline Pictures, acted as a trainee spy on a 2-part BBC Drama called ‘Restless’ with Romer Films Ltd, acted in various roles in new ITV medical drama 'Breathless', acted as a student in Tiger Aspect Productions 'My Mad Fat Diary' series 2, and as a dancer in the 6-part comedy series 'The Midnight Beast' aired on E4. I have presenting experience, been in a Music Video for a song entitled 'Good Day Today' filmed by Shimmer Films, as well as a lead actress in a Virgin Media Short.
I have also been an actress in corporate videos and training videos before. (One of which is in the video section of my StarNow profile).
I currently own my own Performing Arts School in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. I was the Drama teacher there for 5 years before buying the school and becoming principal.
I have a lot of stage experience including Musicals, Shakespeare and other straight plays.
I worked as a performer for two years at a Music Performance Company called Tick Tock, which puts on daily shows to children 6months-5years old. The work consists of singing and acting with costumes and props for an hour (each class) whilst the children and their parents sit and watch.
Over the last two years I have also run my own Drama Workshops, which consists of me being hired into schools and summer camps to run a workshop on Musical Theatre or Drama. Usually I go in with a Theme (like Mamma Mia or High School Musical), and teach the children song relevant songs as well as one big dance number, that the children then perform to the rest of the school/camp.
My stage experience includes performing in the following Musicals; Sweet Charity, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jesus Christ Superstar, South Pacific and Sweeney Todd. I have also been in straight plays such as Shakespeare's Coriolanus, where I played his wife; Virgilia.
A few months ago I became a recognisable voice over on some adverts for a local radio station (96.2 Radio Verulam in the Hertfordshire area). Last December also saw me on the same radio station performing a 'Christmas reading'.
I have also started directing professional and amateur plays, one of which was performed at the playwright festival with the company, The Heritage Players.
