Acting experience

Previous unpaid speaking roles

  • English

  • Australian

I am a year 11 student and received a scholarship at John Curtin College of the Arts for the Gifted and Talented Drama program. Through the program I undertake 4 drama classes per week and to date have appeared in 13 public performances, one of which was performed for the Education minister and Channel 7 News and 3 of which were advertised in newspapers and social media. One of these was the first adaption of the play 'A Beautiful Game' in the Australasian area, since its first and original performance in England. Prior to commencing at John Curtin I participated in a number of musical and dramatic performances with my primary school including a music performance at Burswood Theatre. I was also part of a group that received second place in the state finals of the Wakakirri school performance competition. I have also auditioned professionally with my brother at Black Swan Theatre Company and have been noticed by their directors. I hope that in the future I can continue acting for screen or stage so I can follow my dream of becoming a professional actor.

Modeling experience

Beginner, starting out

I have very little Modelling experience but am definitely willing to start out and try out this industry if I am suitable for it. I leave it open as an option and if something comes up then I will surely take it.

TV & Reality

In my second term of high school I was contacted by the head of the Drama program I am in at John Curtin College of the Arts. I as well as 7 others were given a script including scenes from The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and The Diary of Anne Frank. We we asked to learn our lines off by heart in 2 days to perform for a channel 7 news story by the Education Minister about John Curtin's gifted and talented program. With a lot of time and commitment we all managed to learn our lines and pull together an amazing performance On Friday afternoon, the day of the performance, we were costumed, had one costume rehearsal and then were put backstage. Channel 7 set up their cameras and the Education minister took his seat. We all then came out onto stage and performed, the very first time I had performed for camera. All of us did an amazing job and were congratulated by many. I have never had an experience as amazing and influential as this performance and will remember it forever. As well as this one amazing performance I have undertaken special tv acting courses in PEAC where I learned all about screen acting, makeup, props, green screen and many other vital tips to becoming an actor for screen. It is my dream that in the future I can perform for cameras, I hope it will become true.

Photography experience

Amateur photographer

I am an aspiring amateur photographer, I do it for the fun and the love of it as well as the fact that it takes my mind off of other things and allows me to focus on one thing, taking really good photos. I don't have any professional experience as of yet but I am definitely keen to get some! I spent a holiday in Bali taking photographs and teaching myself to be better, and took some really good photos whilst at it. I also go out often with friends or by myself, teaching myself new techniques and skills and building up my experience. I love taking photos, and always have, and if there are any opportunities to do it in a professional manner, I definitely will go for them!
