A Disruptive Revue presenters star in six short videos in Summer 2019 and six in Winter 2019/20. Presenters host conversations, interviews, special guests and profiles to inspire artists and a general audience to participate in an artistic/social collaboration.

In Summer, viewers from around the world are invited to read selections from a book that speaks to the pitfalls and potential of human collaboration and to create a poem, sculpture, painting, film, performance, architectural, theater, poster, fiction, non-fiction piece, comic, animation, stand-up or improv routine, composition, song or dance to share with the world. A Selection Committee representing each of the arts will choose six contributions from each art form to present in winter.

The premiere season introduces Robert McChesney and John Nichols’ People Get Ready: The Fight Against a Jobless Economy and a Citizenless Democracy. This book addresses one of the great challenges of our time: How can the tremendous benefits of technological progress be employed to serve the whole of humanity, rather than to enrich the wealthy few? Bernie Sanders describes it as “a call to turn knowledge into power.”

A Disruptive Revue is an ongoing series that will become paid as soon as possible. Payment is expenses only at the outset.
