Feature Film "Justice of Bunny King" Casting Call
The film is green lit with support from the NZ Film Commission and shooting will be in Auckland middle to end of August this year.
Set in South Auckland in 2019 the story revolves around the difficult life of a woman called Bunny.
LOGLINE - After making a desperate promise to throw a birthday party for her kids, Bunny, a homeless squeegee queen must break the law to keep her word but in doing so risks losing her children altogether.
Essentially it’s the story of a mother’s love and struggle in a difficult world.
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Bunny’s daughter - Caucasian - 5 – 10 years old - Shannon suffered an injury as a baby and consequently has a level of disability which we have not defined as yet. Could have a level of blindness.
Rather than try to expect a child to convincingly act this quality we are looking for girls who have some form of disability or ‘special needs’. Despite her condition she’s a source of joy because she exudes pure happiness and innocence - she is the bright light in the midst of heavy darkness.
