Calling all budding entertainers and performers!

Head Over Heels, the region’s ultimate children’s party venue, is looking for exceptional talent to join our entertainment team at our Wilmslow site. Candidates must be outgoing, have a passion for delivering the perfect party experience, and volumes of individuality and flair. Previous performance experience is desirable, but equally if you posses the enthusiasm and energy to bring the fun, we’d love to hear from you. Nationally and locally Head Over Heels have gained recognition for first class service and are proud to have been named Best Family Entertainment Centre in the UK by our industry body BALPPA for the past two years. We are looking for lively and creative individuals who are capable of maintaining our high standards. Full training will be provided.

Candidates will be required to send a sixty second video clip telling us a little bit about you, and why you think you would be an ideal candidate for the position. Let your personality shine!

Entertainer Requirements:

• Capable of keeping large groups of children engaged

• Be outgoing, welcoming and lively

• Organised and coheres to our party structures

• Able to stay calm under pressure

• Be versatile, adaptable and able to improvise

• Be resilient and hard-working

• Be original and imaginative in their ideas and presentation

• Have the stamina to consistently radiate fun regardless of the day of the week

• Performance skills (acting, performance experience)

• Be able to accept criticism and constructive ideas

• Ability to work effectively as a team, whilst taking ownership of your own parties

• Ability to create unforgettable memories for our clients

• Work closely with parents to deliver their child’s ideal birthday party

• Weekend working is a necessity

Day to Day Entertainment Tasks:

• Report to the Entertainment Manager

• Create a fun and happy environment for our visiting families

• Welcome the birthday child, family and guests doing everything possible to provide the ultimate party experience

• Provide a food and drinks service for adult guests

• Conduct entertainment activities for children in the disco room and sports court that are age appropriate

• Take command of the birthday cake celebration ceremony

• Communicate with the kitchen to ensure food is prompt, taking into consideration food allergies and special dietary requirements

• Adhere to and help enforce all Health and Safety standards, company rules and regulations

• Ensuring a smooth transition between parties (run two-three parties per day)

• Ensure fast paced service whilst maintaining our customer service vision

Vocational training in performance related fields are desirable.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

Mainly weekend work.
