‘Adare’ is a romantic/drama film which follows the complicated link of two passionate poets. The plot initially focuses on our male protagonist, Malik. He is writing into the late hours of the night at a diner, until he catches a glimpse of Ashmitha, the female protagonist. During the night, they talk and slowly open up to each other, through their similar aspirations. They relate to each other while talking, discovering both their passion for writing, as well as the juxtaposing apathy for the lives they live currently. Through this conversation, they get closer and start to understand each other. Eventually, they make it to Malik’s apartment where a confronting past is revealed. This past binds them in a way which possibly means, the fleeting moments between Ashmitha and Malik could be just that, fleeting.
