Actors Required for Supporting Roles in Drama Short Film in Leeds
It follows the character of Thapelo, a young, bright and ‘good’ university student, on a day where he is forced to question the judgements and behaviours of his lecturers and peers. This leads him to having to question himself and his own actions and beliefs.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesA read through will be held on the 21st of May.
Filming will commence on the 10th of June and will end on the 19th of June.

Paul - Football Coach
Paul is a 40-50. He is considered good looking and easily approachable. Students and staff members alike respect him and see him as someone they trust and want advice from.
He is the football coach of the university, athletic build; silver fox type. The team love him and see him as a key part of their success. He is very good at player-management and is skilled at often saying the right thing at the right moment.

Shirley - Lecturer
Shirley is a middle-aged woman, 40-50 years old, who prides herself of being socially aware and accepting of all cultures; religions; and sexual preferences. She is however, unaware of her unconscious biases.
She teaches Media at university, focussing on culture and power, which she holds strong views and sure beliefs.
She is confident about her ability to advise students and is often forthcoming with any help she can offer, but she can be unaware of the distress that she sometimes causes.
