Hi,

We’re Looking for a sound engineer to create a soundscape for a 5 min surrealist inspired short film.

The aim for the sound design is to generate an other-worldly soundscape as a response/reaction to the visuals expressed throughout the film. Some key words for the sound inspiration...
Distorted, abstract, piercing, resounding, bass-heavy, brassy, percussive, pulsating, airy, sharp, tumultuous.

GENERAL KEY WORDS / INSPIRATION FOR FILM
Surrealism, German Expression, Abstract, Macabre, Object-based, Experimental - a film still from recent footage is attached as a photo to this listing.

As we are students (RMIT), we cannot afford to pay you but you will get credits in the film, a digital copy and exposure through film festivals.

Deadline: we are on a tight schedule for this project, applicants would need to be available from/between 23rd May - 27th May - something to keep in mind when responding to this listing!
