Stephen

Stephen is the owner of the Main Street Kitchen, and is a bit permanently fed up. Recently widowed, he has a no-nonsense attitude to those he sees as wasting his time. For all his rough manner towards some customers, however, he hates snobbery and unfairness in all their forms. His favourite TV presenter is probably Terry Wogan.

Males, aged 50 to 75 from Glasgow, UK

Anna

Anna is a local shop-lifter and previous rabble-rouser, who has probably lost a few marbles along the way. She's described by fellow punters as having a "hard life" - her husband is long dead. She haunts the Main Street Kitchen and its owner Stephen, and loves to harass and annoy him as much as possible. Her mind is clouding slowly, but she has a sharpness in her that makes her a formidable opponent.

Females, aged 50 to 80 from Glasgow, UK

Rusty

Rusty is a local young lad, whose swagger and bravura disappears when tested by Stephen and Anna in a hugely embarrassing face-off. Rusty loves his trainers, his local team, his fade haircut and his sausage suppers.

Males, aged 18 to 22 from Glasgow, UK

Camilla

Camilla is a glamorous East End girl, who frequents Main Street Kitchen with her older sister Camilla. She's prone to a flight of fancy, and her favourite two topics of conversation are nights out and her broken leg. She has refused to pay for a crutch and insists on using one of her sister's sweeping brushes to hold herself up. She's loud, bright and fun to be around. And she can probably drink you under the table.

Females, aged 24 to 36 from Glasgow, UK

Sally

Sally is Camilla's older sister, and is probably just slightly more sensible than her sister. However much Camilla winds her up, she still dutifully escorts her out on the town for fish suppers, and has donated three sweeping brushes already for Camilla to use as a crutch. Sally is every bit as glamorous as Camilla, but her feet are probably just slightly more on the ground. She likes to contradict her sister, but will allow no one else to do so.

Females, aged 24 to 40 from Glasgow, UK

Tony RIP

Tony is a local social media influencer who has a knack for memorising death notices and obituaries. He hosts a daily "death round-up" on his Tony RIP Youtube channel, and can recite back the funeral arrangements of every East End death going back fifteen years. He has hopes for the big time, but for the time being is happy enough getting all the gossip in Main Street Kitchen.
