Actress for Leading Role in Iconic Australian Play
We are producing a 4 show run of David Williamson's iconic masterpiece The Club at the Metro Arts. This show has been modernised to fit with current times. Interested in seeing capable/trained actors who really want to sink their teeth into meaty rolls on stage.
Initially we only opened these roles up to male actors - however after careful consideration we believe a female character could be supported and is appropriate for this day and age.
Auditions will be held on Sunday 16/06/19.
Successful applicants will be sent an excerpt from the script to prepare for the audition. (A small monologue or scene that highlights the character)
Location of Audition will be in Brisbane and will be advised if successful in applying.
Show dates will be September 12, 13, 14, 15 (four shows) at Metro Arts.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production datesTwice a week rehearsals that will increase to three as we close in on opening.
Payment TBC - Expenses Only ( Very limited I'm afraid, But we endeavour to cover some basic expenses for you!)
