Do You Grimace and Grunt at the Gym?
Grunting — that loud, sometimes obnoxious noise produced when we exercise — has been an ongoing source of debate among psychologists.
Focusing on a particular task sends a huge stream of data to your brain. Sticking your tongue out or biting it, reduces its movement and cuts down on this torrent, which leaves more brain-power available to concentrate.
If you have this habit and grimace etc when carrying out a manual task, playing some sports including working out at the gym we would like to hear from you.
The work will involve a short telephone interview - followed by several video recording sessions which will involve some general manual tasks. It may also include a recorded gym work-out
£100 per day - 8 hour day max
