Female Lead Required for Short Film "Paralysis"
'Paralysis' is a film that explores the bind that is sleep paralysis and how truly debilitating it can be. The lead character, who shall remain nameless, is a woman who's stricken with torturous night terrors as she's haunted by an eerie monster. Progressively, throughout the film, the monster becomes more omnipresent, consuming all aspects of her life. It will be shot in a stylised way, exploring the use of light and how it can unknowingly change the entire atmosphere, and therefore connotations, of a scene. Additionally a studio will be used to warp the bedroom and thus the characters reality.

This woman has always struggled with sleep paralysis, ever since she was a young girl, but as she grew up they became less frequent until they hardly existed at all. However recently, due to new found stress in her life, they've come back with vengeance. The story follows her on this journey as the lines between reality and dreams become blurred. She starts off as a spritely, bubbly person with plenty of energy, but this soon drains as her paralysis becomes all consuming.
