ABOUT THE PLAY

In 2017, society was cracked open with the #MeToo
movement, exposing the shocking reality of rape culture
in our lives. Erin O'Flaherty and Rachael Longshaw-Park team up to keep these vital conversations alive and investigate the influences that shape our perceptions of trauma, sexuality and gender. What will we unlock inside the brain? Come and explore memory, identity, and sex in this fresh, absurd and thought-provoking piece.

An Organ of Soft Tissue will contain sexual references, some absurdist elements, puppetry, and references to rape culture. Whilst some of the roles are gendered, performers do not need to identify with their desired role's gender, they need only be comfortable playing it.
