Extras for Student Short Film 'Hold'
Hold is a story of a fall from grace, a loss of innocence in two very different time periods yet, both connected by blood relatives: a single mother (Kathy) and her soon-to-be-adult, daughter, (Hannah). Hold is a story that is seamlessly juxtaposed with a young Kathy and her own formal in the late 1970s and how this one night that was meant to go so right, went so horribly wrong.
The film explores themes such as change and perspective, relationship abuse, mother/daughter bonds, a loss of innocence and intergenerational trauma.
