We are looking for 7 very diversely talented actors of colour. To help put on a staged reading of a new play.

Synopsis:

In his last year of high school 18-year-old Lemi must take his awaited place as leader of the school chorus. He has plans of leading the chorus to glory. But navigating adulthood, abusive students and life's curveballs, might all be too much, even for a brilliant mind like Lemi. This play is an exploration of the complexity of black
masculinity, sexuality and a young mans journey to finding his footing, in a world of high expectations.

This is the next step of development for this play, so this is suitable for Theatre actors who enjoy working closely with writers and directors to shape a role.

Rehearsals will be held once a week after 6:00pm.
