Dave - Dad
Dave’s recently divorced, and to say his relationship with his ex-wife is toxic is an
understatement. Because of the conflict that arises every time they are in direct contact, Dave has avoided coming around to his old family house. He will do anything to avoid confrontation, even if it means not seeing his daughter for months. But it’s her birthday, and he can’t stand not seeing her on her special day. His optimism proves unreliable, as it all blows up when he shows up uninvited.

Lucy (main character)

Females, aged 6 to 11
Ben is a close friend of birthday-girl, Lucy. He’s used to being the center of attention, as he’s a bit of a show-off, in the most adorable way, of course. He's fiercely competitive, especially when it comes to a good game of pass-the-parcel. Winning, of course, is the most important thing to him, and when Lucy’s family drama comes in between the game, he’s NOT happy about it.
Males, aged 6 to 11
Birthday Party Friends
