Two Leads Required for Short Film
'The Late Shift' is a project for Victoria University of Wellington's MFA (CP) program, with intention to be released to festivals. Our crew includes filmmakers with experience on both short film and commercial sets.

Nisha (Female Lead)
Hidden behind each stroke of lipstick, pat of powder and the walls of her own home, Nisha is isolated in a country that had promised her better things. Scared and angry at the outside world Nisha slaves away at a mundane and tiresome job night-after-night. She only cares to protect one thing in the world; her daughter.

Bubbly and oblivious to life outside of her own Thea has always seen the world through ‘privilege-tinted’ glasses. When she picks up an extra job to pay her way through the last leg of her studies she is made learn of some circumstances that hold others back.
