The team will edit together a beautiful tribute to families in the UK using videos and photos from families all around the country. We are looking for about 70 families in total - and about 10 or so of these will be featured prominently. As well as using some pictures and video, some families will be needed to film new footage at home or in their gardens (please note - there is a chance some families may be asked to travel abroad too).
We want to really reflect the amazing mix of cultures and traditions that can be found in the UK, and include families from every nook and cranny with a mix of ages, generations and accents.
Are you from a family that always had a camera to hand? Is your attic filled with photo albums and home videos? We want to hear from you. We want to include all the big family moments in this film - weddings, christenings, birthdays (perhaps candles being added year by year to someone's cake), first days at school (maybe with kids in uniforms the start out too big but after a few years finally fit), anniversaries, BBQs, picnics, parties and time in the garden. There’s no such thing as too many pictures or videos! We want families where you can see fashion and the seasons changed as you flip through the albums - we want to see flares, perms and wheelie shoes, and everything in-between.
Hero Families (prominently featured) will be paid £5,000 per family, plus an additional £1,500 voucher from the brand - fees to cover use of family photos / home videos, plus potentially filming at home (either self-shooting or with crew).
Please note - some families may be invited for filming in South Africa. There would be a further £2,000 fee per family (plus all flights / accommodation etc provided).
Paid - Please see above for full details (Hero family: £5,000 plus £1,500 voucher - an additional £2,000 if asked to travel abroad)

We are looking for families that have lots pictures and videos of themselves spanning back 50 years. We are really keen to find videos and photos that show time passing - e.g. wall paper changing in the background of pictures, kids getting taller, hairstyles changing.
