Extras wanted for short Live ART film Installation creating and building campaign content for live art/drama performance to draw attention to the controversial Big Brother CCTV issues; Is Britain fast becoming a nation of mass surveillance & control? Other issues cover: Wikileakes, Julian Assange extradition. The real threat of 'mind control', racism in modern Britain, Austerity and a few other themes.

Role includes short caption roles,
Theme (1) ; CCTV, Social Political content such as China's Social Credit Scoring system.

Characters will be professionally photographed; film make up is expected on some of the takes so if you are not one for make up or have allergies then please advise in advance. Images will be proofed to create screen prints.

Extras are expected to wear 'sheep' / Wolf masks on one or two sets.

Sheep/Wolf Extras: Are expected to perform a range of syncronistic drills, short scripts, acting roles. some with mini billboards, slogans/ placards etc.
Some of the takes may involve film projection/video mapping. Short takes on street performance in front of microphone.

Flexibility and ability to adapt is an advantage.
Extras must be dressed in black and be ok wearing masks (Sheep).
A combination of synchronised routines and drills to be filmed in a thought provoking film adaptation with a neo political slant on Big Brother Surveillance, China's social Behaviour credit scoring system and the government's use of covert surveillance.

Exploration of the narrative and brief will be provided during initial rehearsals prior to filming.

There is the possibility of impromptu street scenes so would suit those interested in drama, acting or performance art or simply have a passion for stage/street -theatre etc.
Must be over 18.

You must be ok /comfortable with being filmed and open to fully contributing and participating during the performance piece.

The film will be part of the final screening and live art performance for a new youtube channel and podcast bringing awareness to social political issues for Live Art performance installation....

Live art is not strictly theatre, drama but a combination of all three with research driven by artists working across various art forms, contexts and spaces exploring new languages for the representation of ideas and identities.
