Short Promotional Video For The Prostate Cancer Research Charity

Prostate Cancer Research Centre (PCRC) are the only UK charity focused solely on research into life-threatening prostate cancer. Last year, they increased from enabling 4 projects to 11, in a single year. But with 56,000 men diagnosed with prostate cancer, there’s no time to let that momentum drop – PCRC will continue to scale up their research grants this year, and will scale up to at least 23 projects by 2023. They also have a unique ‘Patient Voice’ program to make sure that people affected by cancer have the opportunity to feed into the charity’s decisions, and pro-actively encourage their scientists to collaborate, for better, faster results.
PCRC’s flagship event is the Horizon Dinner, this year held at Banqueting House on the 26th March, themed around the ‘Art of Discovery’ and hosted by Mr Stephen Fry. At this event we will be launching a special short film to highlight the relevance of the charity’s world-class research to real families. The theme of this video is ‘Time,’ because cancer, as it is currently treated, steals a lot of time. The charity exists to find ways to give that time back to men and their families.
