The film will be shot on the streets of Glasgow at ungodly hours to ‘ensure’ the necessary emptiness the story requires. The cast will be tiny, consisting of one main character and a very few extras. The main character will be played by an actor in his 60s (or older) to emphasise the character’s life experience.
Filming will commence, hopefully, either late 2020 or early 2021, all depending on the ongoing COVID19 pandemic that is sweeping the world. John was tempted to pretend his film was a timely ‘ripped from the headlines’ treatise on the ongoing panic, but it really is no no such thing, and he doesn’t want to put himself in a position where people may be expecting a Scottish version of Contagion on a budget of fifty quid.
Fixed payment of £300 - Five full days shoot.

Brackin - Main Character
rackin is a man appearing to be defeated by what has become of his life. Hopelessness seems to seep from every pore as he walks around his achingly empty flat waiting for a message that never comes. God knows how long he has been waiting, but the ache of age in his face is palpable. Brackin could be anything between 55 and 80, such is the despair and torment of existence that dwells in his eyes.
