TV Series

"The Club" (WT) is a pilot for a scripted television comedy series that we want to be mistaken for a 'real' observational documentary. We are particularly looking for actors without significant previous terrestrial TV exposure. We welcome applications from actors of all backgrounds. All those we cast in the pilot will be given full and fair consideration for the role for the series should we be successful in securing a broadcast commission (under EQUITY/PACT TV AGREEMENT).

A fictional documentary, following some of the volunteers that keep non league football alive…

"The Club" is a comedy series with all the hallmarks of a 'real' observational documentary. It’s a uniquely candid insight into the workings of newly-promoted Tepworth FC via the lens of the volunteers who serve as the club’s heartbeat. It's 'The Office' meets 'Sunderland 'Til I Die' in a painfully funny but equally poignant insight into a side of football we seldom see. Our aim to create a series so authentic that the audience remain unsure whether they are watching a genuine documentary or not.

The self tape script will be available after you apply through StarNow along with an email address to send it to.

Shannon is the Women’s Player Manager, a reckless yet determined individual who unapologetically strives for success. The Club catches Shannon at what seems a critical point in this young woman’s life, as she attempts to balance her apprenticeship in construction and her love of illegal raves and dedication to the game.
