‘EXCUSE ME, YOU’RE BLEEDING’: A three-part Web series
This web series is an artistic illustration of a young man’s search for his inner self. 24-year-old Ethan is affected by a simple inconvenience when he discovers that his back is bleeding but can’t remember why. Although reasonably unaffected, it is this simple event which leads to him finding a fleeting romance with 25-year-old Kate. The series explores themes of inner dialogue, relationships, searching, lust, desire, regret, and common social behaviours amongst strangers. It uses a simple scratch as a metaphor to demonstrate that Ethan had the answers he was searching for all along. This is an experimental piece of cinematic art that will be subtitled and have a strong focus on sound and creative camera work. A very unique addition to any showreel.
