A woman and her daughter go to visit their Grandfather (a poet) to get birth certificates. The Granddaughter runs off into the Grandfather’s bedroom. She there stumbles upon a box containing souvenirs. She starts to interrogate her Grandfather, but he is unable to come up with satisfying answers.

The Grandfather: George (70-80 y/o)
George is a retired old man, who spends most of his days alone, sitting on his chair, drinking tea and reading poetry. He previously lived in France, has been an intellectual for most his life, and privately a poet. He has always been slightly off with reality and that has caused the distance he has with his daughter. Due to age, he slightly forgets things and starts to be resigned. His negativity, mainly from his loneliness, is lifted through Judy’s contagious dynamism.
