Time for Prints

So it has been a challenging time for many crative in Melbourne during these difficult COVID times. Now, in Metropolitan Melboure, the clamps have lifted a little, and outdoor photography is now allowed again within the 25km radius, and with appropriate physical distancing and PPE.

This development has given me joy to start being able to slowly get out and shoot again, and I am making this casting call to see if there are any models wanting to get back into the world and shoot again now. It also allows me to put my skills to practice and gain more confidence whilst I am completing an online photography course.

Obviously it has to be outdoors (which I normally shoot in anyway) and within MY 25km radius (which for me, is centred at postcode 3136, Victoria), but I wanted to have an open theme to invite collaboration between ideas from both myself and the models, and not restrict the potentiality of the creativity which could come from this opportunity.

So I invite you to get creative and think of some themes you've been dying to explore, outfits you have wanted to put to the test, or something quirky you've had in mind for a while.
I have my own car, so can travel, but keep in mind, that is must be within 25km of 3136 and outdoors.

Looking forward to working with you and taking some (slightly more) COVID Normal shots!! Also looking forward to seeing some cool masks.

Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates

TBD. Restrictions allow for shooting from now, but I want to still take it slow and not rush anything with potential downfall back to tighter restrictions.

Job payment

Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity - Time for print, portfolio building

Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.

This role, as you would probably guess from the main description, is fairly flexible. That means it's time to get excitingly creative!! Very happy to have a discussion with you about any ideas YOU have for cool outdoor shoot ideas including locations, outfits, and more specifics. One of the things I really enjoy with shoots is working collaboratively with the model and both them and myself (the photographer) having that freedom to input their ideas for the shoot. Don't hesitate to ask questions!
