Two Actors Needed for Lead Roles in Romantic Drama Short Student Film

I am a student filmmaker with a big passion for music as well as theatre. I wrote this short film titled A Staged Romance to help younger people realise that it's okay to prioritise your goals first.

'A Staged Romance' is a romantic drama short film where we follow a hard working theatre actress Bianca (19), who dreams of landing a lead role in a feature film. She is given the opportunity to perform in-front of film scouts; however one thing stands in her way, her feelings toward her co-star, Marco (20).

As things begin to fall apart during her big performance, we see Marco and Bianca’s chemistry begin to naturally flourish.

During the after party; Bianca has to make a big decision: Her life long dream of making it onto the big screen? Or will she risk her reputation as an actress, for a chance at love with Marco?

I'll need a Bianca (18-25) and a Marco (18-25) as well as some minor roles !! Please note that I don't have a specific look for any of these characters- so anyone can apply, as long as you meet the requirements.

Dates are TBC, but are happening within the next month or so.

Auditions will be held, as well as a chemistry test!!

Bianca; Female Lead

Bianca is a 20 year old hard working theatre actress, and is perusing her dream of making it into the film industry. She is passionate, driven and puts others first. She thinks before she says and is creative. She's very extroverted and has a very curious soul. However she is self-less, but is wanting to put herself first.

Marco; Male Lead

Marco is a 21 year old theatre actor, that has been working with Bianca for quite sometime. He is charming, funny and is a very chilled person. He's honest, and is easily tempted to go out for a drink. He makes the most of every situation and really loves the connection that him and Bianca share on stage.

Eddie - Theatre Director; Minor Role

Eddie really cares for both Marco and Bianca and wants them to do their best, especially in front of the film scouts. He is brutally honest and is stern, but also is forgiving. He has their best interests at heart and HATES surprises.
