Actors Required for Lead Roles in Short Thriller

We are currently in the early stages of pre-production on our short film, 'Comic' and are looking for actors based in and around the North East (male/female) to take on lead and supporting roles.

'Comic' tells the story of Jake, a young boy who suffers at the hands of his mothers abusive boyfriend, and how a chance encounter with a hitman changes his life forever.

This will be my first film, and apart from some previous acting experience, this will be my first time in the director/producer chair.

We are looking for a mixture of actors between the ages of 18 and 40. No major stunt work will be involved and no previous stunt work is require, although handy.

As this is my first short film I am looking to actors from all backgrounds. While previous acting experience is preferred we are also looking to fresh new talent on the scene. So if you have no previous experience as an actor, but feel you may want to apply then please do; you maybe what we are looking for.

The film will be shot in the North East of England. Actors will be expected to make their own traveling arrangements to and from shooting locations.

Once completed we aim to place the film into suitable festivals. All actors will receive a copy of the completed film either on DVD or Blu-Ray.
