'Scream' is a short film/music video similar in format to Thom Yorke's 'Anima'
Directed by experienced video/sound artists, the piece will premiere in a one off exclusive theatre screening as part of the Melbourne Music Week 2021 official program.
Your scene is a short dramatic monologue which will play over pulsating drone music.

We ask applicants to record a ~1 minute monologue to camera in three different styles.

We are looking for a Female/Male/Non-binary actor between 22 and 38 (this is an art film not narrative so we are open to trying different identities within these parameters) This character is: - Lonely - A little lost/stuck in a rut - Low income but not totally broke - Has difficulty connecting with other people The monologue: The monologue is a conversational, slightly poetic reflection on living in a metropolitan city and the ennui that comes with it.
