Man to play Dad in Short 2 minute scripted advert:
Man in front of green screen (to one side of frame)
Man: Hey! (knock knock on glass), stuck for Christmas present ideas?
Know someone who might want to see themselves starring in their own music video?
(Girl appears beside him, turns to look at him)
Girl: Er, yeah!
(Points to herself as if to say “of course stupid Dad, you know I would love that”)
Man: Why not buy them a House Band Gift voucher?
(Man points up to gift voucher which will appear on screen)
They just choose a popular song to sing or lip-sync to, and House Band can provide a cool backing video with professional cover track.
(Girl appears with headphones on and green screen behind her, counting in “6,7,8” then silently bopping)
They will need to video their own performance - lots of tips for how to do that cheaply at home on our website here - (points), and House Band will mix it into the backing video for them.
(image of girl cuts to her singing last line of verse still in same position wearing ordinary clothes and headphones in front of green screen – no audible backing track, then when the big chorus comes the backing track comes in, the man disappears, she changes to wearing performance clothes and no headphones, and the background changes from the green screen to a cool video backing image – the final product).
After a few seconds of that, the man reappears in front of the continuing song (backing track ducks a bit so he can be heard) saying (speaking loudly as if trying to make himself heard over her loud music)
Man: They’ll love the whole experience!
And, House Band are currently offering a huge 1/3 off (points to 1/3 off banner) so you can buy a unique custom-made pop video for just £99! Where else will you find that!
(House band logo and slogan appear)
£10.5 per hour
