
The focus of the documentary quickly shifts away from the band, when the lead singer’s older brother and his girlfriend fight.
The crew, led by a female director, observe the casual emotional abuse of the women and the dysfunctional relationships in the suburban community.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates
As Covid has impacted out shooting dates and up coming year, we don't have any locked off dates as of yet. We will be looking to shoot around April.Rehearsals will be held up to a month beforehand.
Job payment
Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity - Student film - low budget.
Expenses paid - Food provided.
Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.
Lead female - Emily
A 19 year old arts student who works at Woolworths. She is humble, loyal, loving, and trusting. Emily hates conflict and never wants to fight with her boyfriend, Dylan, meaning that sometimes she is too complacent. But over the course of the night she becomes more aware of how she is being treated and begins to assert herself. Requirements: must have an Australian driver's licence.

Lead male - Nathan
A 17 year old high school student. He is the lead singer and guitarist in the band that the documentary is centred around. He is goofy, naive and switched on. Like all younger siblings, he wants to fit in with his older brother, Dylan. He goes along with their shenanigans but by the end of the night sees the horrific reality of what is taking place. His elevation of status from playing in the band does not change who he is. Requirements: must look high school age, play guitar and sing.

Lead male - Dylan
A 20 year old carpentry apprentice who works for his father. Dylan is an influential member of the boys’ friendship group. Dylan is impulsive, inconsiderate and unable to express his thoughts and emotions. He struggles to understand why he feels unsatisfied in life, and takes it out on his girlfriend Emily. Even though Dylan is the antagonist in the story and acts terribly, he isn’t a villain and doesn’t like what he is doing to the people he loves.
