Qualifications & experience:-

Successful completion of a tertiary qualification in Marketing or PR/Communications is highly desired but not required.
Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Professional standard of writing with the creative flair to bring our brand and voice to all text communications.
Proficient use of the Adobe Suite. Photography and Video Editing, not required but highly desired. Understanding of social media analytics tools, such as Sprout Social or Buffer. Proven consistency and detail in creating branding & marketing assets.
Ideally you would have some previous experience in marketing, graphic design and campaign execution from ideation through to delivery.
Be familiar with the concept of marketing a company’s values and beliefs rather than focusing on products and prices.

Tasks & responsibilities:-

- Work closely with marketing team, manager and wider organisation to understand key messages required in promotional content.
- Assist creation of marketing strategies and calendars aimed at reaching our target audience with our story and highly engaging content.
- Communicate with suppliers, shoppers and the wider Toys”R”Us and Hobby Warehouse teams to formulate new ideas, initiatives and campaigns.
- Develop brand/marketing assets and website content.
- Assist in the development of e-commerce, eDM, social and all other marketing content and strategies so that future and existing shoppers know just how wonderful and important we are to their lives!
