The key idea is to film an MV in the intersections in Auckland CBD, where pedestrians have around 20 seconds to cross the road, and we shoot the dancing in the centre of the intersections.
There are simply three steps to get there.
1-We agree on 1 piece of music.
You may select a few pieces for me and I shortlisted them to 1. Would be great if you have video to show me, but not a must have as we can meet up and decide.
2-We start the shooting bit by bit, most likely every 20-30 seconds before it turns red light for us.
In order to capture the best possible shots, we may challenge ourselves by endless trials and failures.
3-Your job is done, I will do the editing.
The rough timeframe will be spending 3 days filming. After the editing is done, you and I both get a stunning portfolio that may change our lives.
Again it takes dedication and perseverance to make it happen, and the last thing we both need is a compromised result. So please don't apply if you are afraid to step out of the comfort zone.
This is an experimental collaboration between a dancer and a cinematographer, and we both contribute fresh, bold or even impossible ideas to make the video look great.
Thank you for your time, and I will contact the right candidate for a chat over the best coffee in Auckland.
