ACT, Australia. Apply from all Australia.
Listed by View details

Hi - I'm helping my son cast actors for a short film, you can find the details below.

I'm making a student short film in the family/drama genre, and I'm looking for 2 male actors between the ages of 6 and 12 to act in the roles of two young brothers. This would take place in Canberra and the Batemans Bay area. Actors/parents would be paid $80 per child/parent group, and food and water for both would be provided on set (as well as hand sanitiser and sunscreen).

Both roles include dialogue, swimming in shallow water, and interaction with two adult actors in the roles of the mother and the adult lead (an older version of one of the child roles). One role includes the use of a minor swear word. Actors would need to have their own transport and clothing, and would need to be ready in the early morning for a few days in the production period.

Production will hopefully occur between Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 31st of January over 3-5 days, but exact dates and times are flexible.

Thank you for your interest, please message me if you have any questions.

The owner of this listing has agreed to abide by local 'working with children' regulations. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Brandon is intelligent, but has become more reserved following the separation of his parents. He's eager to seem knowledgeable and has a strong fraternal bond with James. This bond becomes stronger as they spend the summer together at a caravan park, a temporary home following the separation.

Male, aged 6 to 12

Applications closed 2 February 2021.

James is upbeat, cheeky, and enjoys teasing his brother, although they get along well. His restlessness sometimes leads him to play by himself to blow off steam. He also tests the line of what's acceptable with his mother, finding it difficult to take things seriously.

Male, aged 6 to 12
