We are looking for a dancer or actress or both who is incredibly in touch with her body.
Iris identifies as an Otherkin which means she expresses her lifestyle as a cat throughout the film. We follow her journey of discovery throughout the film as she becomes more comfortable embodying a form similar to a cat.
We are student filmmakers so we cannot promise to pay actors, however, we are able to pay for transport and/or petrol where possible.
We are looking for someone in or close to the Leeds area.
Audition / Rehearsal / Production dates
Rehearsals will take place late March, still awaiting a dateThe production shoot will last 4 days from 14th April 2021 - 17th April 2021

Iris
Iris is a timid character at the start of the film, she slowly becomes more comfortable in her own skin. She does this by taking part in activities alone that are similar to how a cat would express itself in the woods. The role is very demanding on the body but needs elegance through the power of dance as she discovers herself
