Young & Hungry are looking for 4 actors for a 9 week tour of NZ schools

Young and Hungry are looking to cast actors for the 2021 national tour of director Steven Ray and dramaturg Shane Bosher’s 'Whaddarya?'.

Four young actors will take to the road for nine weeks, touring schools and community centres around New Zealand. The 45-minute performance will consist of extracts from key texts, all based around the theme of New Zealand identity.

We are looking to cast the following actors to play multiple roles:
Maori, Pasifika and Pakeha males, and Maori and Pakeha females.

The suggested age range is twenties, with some work experience and training required. Plus, you will also need a full driver’s license, as the team share driving the van around the country.

This role pays $25 p/h ($1,000 p/w), plus travel expenses and accommodation.
