The first part of this four-part anthology will be a dramatic monologue; a sermon delivered by a priest on a spaceship heading into a wormhole.
Covid has made filming this scene in person difficult; therefore I'm looking for an actor with a home studio to film it themselves, and I'll incorporate it into the final film spliced with footage of the spaceship.
A simple microphone set up will do, with either a greenscreen or a simple black background. Good microphone, camera & lighting quality is essential. Simply record yourself reading the sermon as if you were reading it to an actual congregation.
It's quite an emotive speech, so we'll be looking for capable actors with a strong voice.
The finished film will be submitted to film festivals, published on Vimeo & YouTube, and shared with my moderate online following (3200 followers on Facebook, 2000 on Twitter as of the time of writing). In addition to the publicity, it will be a good opportunity to collect showreel material, you'll be helping me graduate, and I'll consider you for future projects (I prefer working with actors I know). Pay is TBD; I'm prepared to pay for any reasonable expenses (e.g. the cost of a priest costume).
Looking forward to working with you! Message me for all enquiries.
