Overview
Diamond hands is the story of the rise and fall of George Clayton. A former gambling addict, George catches the early news of a potential financial revolution on the stock market. Millions could be made, but with any bet comes a risk. Does he undo the years of hard work for one last shot at making his riches?
I am making this half hour piece for my final year project at Salford University, and would love to make something wild, original and a joy to listen to.
This will be unpaid, unfortunately, but you will receive full accreditation and i would love to open a series of working collaborations with other content creators. Maybe we could get something really good going.

Cooky
Cooky: Cooky is ‘G’s best friend, and although their interactions are purely online these days, they are inseparable and couldn’t bear life without the other. Cooky is still somewhat stuck in the juvenile lifestyle they both overindulged in in the years prior. Cooky is a bit of a stoner, a relaxed and somewhat over-confident type, who never seems to let the pressure show, even if he is still gambling large amounts of money, but now on the stock market as opposed to sports betting.

Craig is a hot-headed mid 50 year old who is a bit at the end of his tether. He feels his son should have moved out by now, or he should at least be paying more towards the upkeep of the house. He never really forgave G for lying to him in the past in regard to gambling and needing bailing out on multiple occasions, and will use the money owed as leverage in arguments at the soonest possibility. He’s an arsehole but he’s from a different era, and he just shows his love in different ways.

Oh Jo, you’re so lovely. She is quiet and unassuming, yet secretly fully aware that she is the boss of the house. She wants nothing more than for her lad to grow up to do something with his life and is willing to put his flaws to the side and give him support however she can. Her relationship with her husband is a little strained, due to his fiery hot temper, flying off the handle at the slightest inconvenience. She deals with her grievances in a much more passive aggressive fashion.
