The roles involve audience interaction, clowning and comedy, so it is essential that performers are comfortable with improvisation and with commanding a large audience. The ideal candidate would be a keen improviser who is interested or experienced in interactive and participatory theatre. A can-do attitude and a willingness to try new ideas and concepts is essential.
The show is currently programmed to perform at
Brighton Fringe (The Warren: The McElderry) on June 25th, 26th, 27th.
Omnibus Theatre, London on July 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th. 9pm shows.
All shows are profit share, with a guaranteed fee of £50 per performance. Show calls will be no longer than 3 hours. Accomodation and/or travel to Brighton will be provided by the company as needed.
To make it very clear, we are looking for a team member to collaborate with, not an employee. While this is a casting for a specific engagement, we have other several productions in the pipeline (and other engagements for Earnest), so mainly looking for performers to collaborate with long term.
The roles are open to all candidates of any nationality, orientation, gender, sex, age and socio-economic background. We are only looking to cast performers from ethnic minorities for these roles.
To apply please send an email with a CV (Spotlight or otherwise) and link to a showreel. Doesn't need to be a professional showreel, but to get a better idea of who you are.
Auditions will be held in London on May 11th & 12th, location TBC.
