We are an award winning theatre school who pride ourselves on providing the very best training in dance, drama and singing for children and young people with a focus on developing a child's confidence whilst they learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and secure environment.
Our classes run on Saturdays during term time with the option of overtime to cover various other classes where necessary. We provide tuition in both Musical Theatre and Commercial styles including Street Dance and Pop Singing.
The job role includes/requires:
-Working as part of a team committed to providing high quality performing arts training
-Helping to coordinate all dance/song/drama pieces for show numbers for their group in partnership with the class teacher
-A natural affinity with children and a caring natural
-A mature and responsible attitude
-A passion for good customer service
-Good organisation skills
-A passion for the Performing Arts and for working with young children
Classes are normally held at Meadowhead School, Dyche Lane, Sheffield, S8 8BR but whilst working under Covid restrictions we are operating from a number of venues in Dronfield centre, on Saturdays during term time.
The position is for 2 hours + starting in May, there is also the opportunity to progress to teaching hours for the right candidate. Experience of the Performing Arts and/or teaching/classroom support is preferred but not essential.
