We follow Alex, a journalist who is struggling to keep his job due to a lack of captivating stories for their paper. After having to stay longer in a town than he thought, he finds a small cheap BnB to stay a couple of nights at with an aim to find a story in the town. He meets Frances, who runs the BnB, she gives him the only room in the BnB. Frances is a motherly figure, overly caring and smiley, wearing lots of accessories and bright colours, she sticks photos of previous guests in the hall, and also tells Alex never to go into one of the rooms. While there, Alex suspects Frances is not who she appears and curiosity takes over him to uncover what’s happening.
