The Brookside Theatre is looking for a talented male musical theatre performers to join the cast in the role of SEAWEED J STUBBS for their community production, the smash hit 60s musical, HAIRSPRAY.

Production dates: 8th - 12th September 2021
Venue: Brookside Theatre, Romford

About the show....
Baltimore, 1962. Tracy Turnblad is a big girl with big hair and big dreams. Can she make it on the local TV dance show, win the heart of teen heartthrob Link Larkin and bring everyone together – whatever their colour, size or hairdo? Well if you want a change, you’ve really got to shake things up!

All auditions / rehearsals / performances are held at the theatre in Romford (5 mins walk from Romford station (zone 6)

Seaweed is the light-hearted guy that everyone likes and is never quick to judge anyone else. He’s smooth and very popular within his group. Experienced Musical Theatre performer with Tenor vocals (B above Middle C), strong dance ability and US accent. High energy. Playing Age 18
