Are you a performer with a natural affinity for children? Would you like to help educate young kids about asthma in a fun and musical way? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
The Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ is looking for talented performers around the country who can help bring its Sailor the Pufferfish show to primary schools and kindies. The Sailor show has been running for a few years now, and has educated thousands of children about asthma.
This is a casual but well-paid gig, which involves a bit of flexibility. Each tour would be around 7-10 days long, and most likely you would do at least one or two tours per year.
We will provide you with the script and the equipment. What’s more, there's the potential to really make the show your own. While the content of the script has been signed off by medical professionals and the key messages are fixed, there is capacity to be creative with the show. We are always keen for new ideas, songs, and material to make Sailor shine for our tamariki!
