Men are boring, bland and dull, or at least they are to Rachel. She has learned to cope by projecting her fantasies onto men, suddenly making them exciting and dangerous. Sadly these fantasies are locked in her mind, leading her to some embarrassing and awkward situations.
Call of the Wild is set during a speed dating event in a local pub. Rachel, being bored and uninterested in the men on offer, starts to project her fantasies onto them. One of these fantasies extends back to her University days and this is the role we seek to cast.
A male actor 55-75, to play a character known as 'Sugar Daddy'. The roles involves 3-4 lines of dialogue and a costume change (provided).
Due to the fact this character has little screen time we would prefer to cast from the Worcester & Birmingham area as the role is unpaid. Expenses however can be discussed, depending on distance.
Applicants will be required to video audition and a script will be provided for the audition.
Unpaid – this is a collaboration opportunity
Collaborations should create mutual benefit and are usually amateur, student or 'Time for Print' projects.

Edward (Sugar Daddy)
The film is set part inside and part outside of Rachel's mind. We look at the men she transforms with her fantasies. Outside of Rachel's fantasy 'Sugar Daddy' is a messy elder man with grease hair, wearing a tatty trousers and a knitted sweater, drinking ale and eating a packet of crisps. In the fantasy 'Sugar Daddy' has slick hair and a suit and in place of the pint of ale and packet of crips has a bunch of flowers and some chocolates.
Male, aged 55 and over
